Helical piles have been used as a deep foundaiton system for nearly 200 years. They have enjoyed a resurgence in awareness and popularity in recent decades. This presentation will cover the basics of helical piles, advantages that they can offer over other deep foundation systems, as well as, basics of how pile capacity is determined and verified.
